Solar Sales Expert Overview 

 

The great thing about solar is that it sells itself. Help homeowners, businesses and communities navigate their way to energy savings, independence and sustainability. Provide support by assessing prospect energy needs and qualifications in order to deliver an accurate and informative custom solar report that demonstrates system design, cost, savings and incentives available. Our sales team is trained to guide clients in a transparent, creative, convenient and educational approach in order to get them the information they need to make an informed decision. We understand the variety of ways modern consumers prefer to participate in the sales process, from direct in-home consultations, to virtual and digital outreach and more! Our customer and relations management system is organized, secure, and reliable - so that you can focus strictly on sales while we handle the rest! 

 

In This Role You Will: 

  • Start by producing and selling self-generated leads. 

  • Present and sell solar deals to clients. 

  • Have active guidance from mentors invested in your success. 

  • Educate communities through in person and virtual sales presentations. 

  • Be prepared to travel in your designated territory.

  • Submit completed paperwork to the operations team daily. 

  • Welcome to visit client installations.

Requirements: 

  • Must be 18+ years or older. High School Diploma or equivalent. Pass background check.

  • Experience in sales, consulting, promoting, marketing, and/or customer service. 

  • Complete sales training provided. Complete sales member shadowing requirements. 

  • Have reliable transportation with active vehicle insurance. Have a reliable phone and laptop/tablet. 

  • Willingness to work independently with a positive, energetic and problem-solving mindset.

  • Wear company ID, permits and gear/logos while working, in a clean and professional manner. 

  • Become familiar with the company website www.ecovole.com and social media pages.

  • Willing to undergo regular training to consistently improve skill set.
